NEW HIRE STOCK NOW AVAILABLE

JVP have made several exciting new additions to our hire stock over the last few months, including wireless LED uplights, black leather Chesterfields, new white and black Barcelona chairs and Kartell Bubble Club furniture sets.

The GDS LiteWare uplighters have proved to be a very popular addition to our stock. Their wireless nature makes them an ideal solution when set up time is limited and to avoid unwanted or obstructive cable runs, particularly when uplighting venue columns, plinths or other objects in the centre of a room. They are extremely quick and easy to install and programme, their overall effect is great and their battery life is exceptional.

Our brand new furniture stock includes a black leather Chesterfield range consisting of 2 and 3 seater sofas and armchairs, as well as a new set of bright white and black leather Barcelona chairs.  Both these ranges are perfect as a classic and sleek option for any lounge seating needs.

We now have several sets of the Kartell Bubble Club furniture available in white and comprising 2 seater sofas, armchairs and low tables.  Waterproof and resilient, this range is an ideal solution for contemporary and funky outdoor seating.

In recent weeks we have also been replenishing and adding to some of our existing stock items such as white Bombo tables and stools, low glass coffee tables, mirrored cube tables and Perspex plinths.

JVP BUILD GIANT POP-OUT CAKE FOR POLLY RAE PERFORMANCE AT THORNTONS CENTENARY PARTY

This bespoke giant pop-out cake was made for West End burlesque star Polly Rae, who gave a special performance for the Thornton’s 100 years celebration party at Shoreditch House.  Made to exacting standards, the custom-built cake enabled Polly to surprise guests by bursting out of the top, before starting to sing and then walking down the tiered steps on the side.  Contact JVP about hiring the cake for a true party performance to remember!

JVP PRODUCE 1 MISSION 1 MILLION CAMPAIGN PRESS LAUNCH IN MADRID

The press launch of the 1 Mission 1 Million campaign took place in Madrid, Spain in March and was held high up in the impressive Torre Espacio tower with panoramic view across the city.  JVP were contracted to provide event production services for the launch and flew out a large crew team including production managers, sound, light and video technicians, autocue operators and carpenters, and also transported large quantities of in-house equipment.

Sponsored by pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim, this global initiative aims to raise awareness of a heart condition known as atrial fibrillation and empowers the public to vote to decide how to spend 1,000,000 euros on projects that help prevent atrial fibrillation-related strokes.  The campaign ambassador is actress Jane Seymour and press from around the world had the opportunity to interview her about her personal connection to the campaign.

JVP were responsible for the overall event layout and styling, as well as the design and build of the stage set and technical installations including the sound system, stage and mood lighting, rear projection for the main presentation and various plasma screens and laptops for voting.  Other elements provided by JVP included all furniture and bars, backstage dressing rooms, interview and broadcasting pods, branding vinyls and signage, and general venue dressing such as draping, carpet runners and floral arrangements.

JVP produces The Sims Christmas event at Sarm Studios for Electronic Arts

Electronic Arts recently held a Christmas event at Sarm Studios to annouce the new girl band Wonderland as the ambassadors of The Sims.  JVP were called upon to provide lighting, furniture and venue dressing.  Amidst clusters of green and white illuminated Christmas trees, Wonderland performed an exclusive set for the lucky VIP guests, who then had the opportunity to mingle with the band and try out the new Sims 3 game.

JVP Takes Over Mercer Street Studios

Mercer Street Studios is a flexible event space which has been fully renovated to a very high standard to form a blank canvas venue and is ideal for creative productions. 

The Studio boasts a great central London location, being within only a two minute walk from Covent Garden and 4 minute walk from Leicester Square.

With approximately 3,800 sq ft of open white warehouse space for hire, the venue is suitable for filming, photo shoots, art exhibitions, press and products launches, clothing sample sales, dinners, conferences and networking events.  Events have included press launches for Electronic Arts, Laura Ashley, Clarks, Habitat and Warehouse, as well as a sample sale for Anya Hindmarch, a conference for 110 and a pop-up showroom for Converse.

The maximum capacity is 250 people for a reception style event or a conference and 150 for a sit down dinner, and the space is available for both day and evening hire, from 7am to 11pm.

Hard Rock Calling, Blur and Wireless Festivals 2009 @ Hyde Park

Live Nation and Sanctum Special Events once again commissioned JVP to produce the guest area and corporate hospitality pods at the Hyde Park festivals and gigs. We fully furnished and dressed the stretch canvas pod areas with dining and bar furniture,soft lounge seating, lit bars, outdoor garden furniture, greenery, cushions, & lighting.
